E6B Pro is a local flight-planning and training app. It is built so your plans, settings, and calculator inputs stay on your iPhone. We do not run user accounts, ads, or analytics, and we do not sell personal information.

This page is the privacy policy for the E6B Pro iOS app. It also tells you how to reach us for support.

Who we are

E6B Pro is published by Imran Shaukat. It is an independent digital E6B / navlog utility. It is not affiliated with ASA, Sporty’s, Garmin, ForeFlight, or any aircraft manufacturer.

What the app stores on your device

The following stays on your iPhone (and in your iCloud device backup if you use one). It is not sent to our servers — we do not operate an app backend.

Navlog drafts and saved flight plans (including waypoints, times, fuel, and MAG/TRUE setting)
The last METAR you chose to apply to calculators

You can remove this data by deleting the app. Uninstalling E6B Pro deletes its local store.

What we do not collect

No name, email, or account
No location permission (the app does not use GPS)
No contacts, photos, microphone, or Health data
No advertising identifiers, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs
No in-app purchases or payment data inside the app (the App Store handles the paid download)

Weather lookups (third-party services)

If you look up a METAR or TAF, the app sends the station identifier you entered (for example KJFK) over HTTPS to public aviation weather services:

U.S. FAA Aviation Weather Center — aviationweather.gov
If needed, NOAA / National Weather Service METAR text as a fallback

Those organizations receive a normal web request (station ID, time, and standard network data such as IP address). Their use of that request is governed by their own policies, not ours. We do not receive a copy of your lookups.

Airport names, elevations, runways, and magnetic variation are computed from data bundled in the app (airport directory and WMM2025). Those lookups do not go to the network.

Widgets and sharing

Home Screen widgets only open a screen in the app. They do not send data to us.

If you use Export PDF or Share, iOS’s share sheet is used. Whatever you send (AirDrop, Mail, Files, and so on) is between you and the service you pick.

Children

E6B Pro is a general-audience aviation utility (age rating 4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data requests

Because we do not host your plans or weather history, we cannot retrieve, export, or delete a copy of your navlogs from our side. Delete the app on the device to remove local data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
